Ghostbusters YouTube Thread

The only reason I get so touchy about this kind of thing is because I've heard too many cruel, sarcastic jokes about what my wedding day might look like, the punchline of which always involved the bride running off in shame and embarrassment.

Many of these jokes were made by others my age when I was in grade school (I dare not call them “friends”, not now), but several came from my own grandmother.

Because not everyone wants a starched wedding, besides, the reception is supposed to be a time to let the hair down a bit, and have a fun time with friends and acquaintances to mark the occasion. You may not like or understand it, but they did. Nobody's asking you to do it for your wedding.

What did this nagging comment contribute? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no one is asking you to stick up for that video. Thanks you for coming out though


I too think it's a bit odd…I enjoy Ghostbusters…but there is a fine line for myself.

Nice to see the stuff from the 1989 Laser Disc edition on the film on You Tube. I wish that Columbia had put that stuff along with the music videos for “Ghostbusters” and “Cleaning up the town” on the Blu ray. Even thought I don't own a Blu Ray player yet, I am planing on making Ghostbusters my first Blu Ray purchase, since it was also one of the first movies I owned on DVD.

3 videos I just saw on YouTube featuring the classic Ray Parker jr. song “Ghostbusters”.

The first one is the unedited version where you can hear the celeb cameos sing, the second one is a high quality version of the same song, but unfortunatley with the celeb voices edited out. The third one is a mixture of the first and second video, meaning high quality, but with unedited voices.
