Ghostbusters.nuts - No. 39 : Double or Nothing

The name's King, Ben King and I present my little strip to tie in with the release of Casino Royale in the UK today.

Hopefully it'll all be clear… but I'm not sure if the accident made many headlines over in the US.

No surprise that Pinewood Studios burnt to the ground. It's made of the wood of pines, duh!

Ghostbusters.nuts - No. 40 : Legacy for the Future

The strip reaches the big 4-0 issue as I bring a particular commentary to a close.

I realise this isn't month's end… but I felt an unscheduled upload would remove a particularly bitter taste in my mouth… which the people in the know would understand.


If it looks familiar, then simply look at IMDb for a film that both Guy Pierce and Orlando Jones have worked in together.

The strip will be back to it's semi-irregular month-end posting schedule in January of 2007, with the Christmas tie in planned for late night (GMT) postage on December 24th.

I suspect some people have figured it out… but I figured as I'm in the mood, I should make a small confession before any problems occur from it in the future.

I make use of screen caps from films and DVDs if I want to make sure particular panels in the comic are exactly what I'm after… and after combining these elements in Photoshop I'll trace over them in Illustrator and also add the colours here.

A large number of panels I do (Although more times then not these are the people shots as I'm terrible at drawing people) will be done in this way. Despite this, I try ensure I draw as much as I possibly can to help balance this out.

Thus ends my confession… and I hope that despite this you don't look at me in lesser position then I may have already worked myself into.


To think… I likely solved my ‘nothing interesting happening in the community’ problem…
