Ghostbusters.nuts: The Community Parody Comic...

I know it's after Twelfth Night… but I finally got it finished:

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 63: You're a Rotter, Dr. V - Part 1
Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 64: You're a Rotter, Dr. V - Part 2

I'm trying out a new concept for handling the strip when it gets unweildly long. The idea is that if a strip goes over five/six panels deep, the stuff afterward will be split off and a small strap indicate that the story continues in the next part. This strap will be different from the usual “To Be Continued” which will be used whenever a story might be interupted by another strip, but will eventually resume.

I think that made sense.

Anyway, we'll see how this works out.

I'm amazed and honored to see you sorta doing a semi-sequel to the Christmas strip I did.

“Activision Branded Biggest Bastards In The History Of The Universe”…the tickers on GCN are some of the funniest parts of these strips.:-)

It seemed the natural thing to do storywise as soon as it occurred to me… and it nicely establishes a sense of history to the story. It wouldn't surprise me too much if it winds up being an ongoing thing for the Christmas issues for as long as the strip runs.

And as you can see, I enjoy writing the newstickers as it lets me be as frank as I want to about the particular subject I'm targeting. :p

Aaaannnd! A new strip!

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 65: Viral? Go see a Doctor!

It'll be out June 10, 2010 and it'll be awesome and I know it's true because it says so on imbd and imdb never has anything false on it and I know June 20, 2010 is right so that's why I just put it on there and since it's on imdb it must be true Ghostbusters 3 will be out June 20, 2010 and it'll rock!!!

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 66: So long, dear Patrick

In celebration of the Ghostbusters3willrock getting banned from Ghostbusters.net (and as Chad said he was banned, and he hasn't posted in the last couple of days I'm inclined to believe it), I present a look back at the man and the myth going back as to when I think I first encountered him…

…and of course, a speculation as to what he really is.

It's also kinda sad how easy it is to actually emulate him, it's like that sketch where Stewie Griffin worked out Emporer Palpatine's formula for dialogue.

I believe this is the first time Vincent Belmont has featured in the comic… if so I'm disappointed at that, and he'll definitely be featuring in another soon.

Whilst the twerp is still able to post on Proton Charging, it's at least a significantly reduced presence and Castewar is able to deal with him as he sees fit.
