Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 75: The Fans Ask! - Louis Tully, Ghostbuster

I can imagine that very scenario happening too.

Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant

I had a lot of fun putting the art together for this, special thanks to my brother Jon for noticing some mistakes that slipped by.

“Rob, we're surrounded by zombies. I don't need another thing that could kill me!”

:-)

I may have to sig that.

Fritz, you have no idea how much that remark pleases me.

When I was assembling the lettering, the first version of your dialogue was something along the lines of: “I don't have a death wish!”

But it just didn't seem funny enough… I came up with a variation of the final version, checked it with my brother to make sure it was better, and here we are.

Bravo sir. Loved that last panel.

You know, I saw no difference between Patrick as a zombie and normal Patrick

Oh, man, you so missed a potential NOW Comics reference, King. The Times Square crawl needed the line, "Zombies reported at Macy's…When the going gets tough, the dead go shopping." It comes from the one where they had to take the ECTO-4 out to Michigan or something to investigate the wreck of the St. Anne and bust a water demon in the process. I think I have that very issue…I'll have to check.

Also, your title, “Left 2 Shred,” makes me think of the zombies taking up skateboarding or air-guitar rather than mindlessly rampaging. Which, no doubt, would make for a great visual gag.

Still, I have to laugh at the Zombieland reference, and at Zombie!Patrick. Then again, there's always room for another GB.net zombie, that waste of bandwidth who used the sig:

"homer simson ghostbusting yaaay"

and annoyed the hell out of everyone on this forum, myself included.

Good work with that strip, though.

“Left 2 Shred” originally derived from the mod-deleted topics coming back from the grave, which became less obvious in the final version.

Heh, I certainly did miss that line… but then, it's been ages since I last read my copies of the NOW series.

Strangely enough, the line comes from the *only* issue of NOW's RGB series I own. When NOW went bankrupt, I guess all the unsold comics went into those “goody bags” you get at the dollar store, with 10-15 random ones packaged together for $1…and, of course, to various wholesale distributors like Oriental Traders. I got mine in sixth grade, actually, at the annual Santa's Secret Shop thing we used to do in grade school.

My God, has it been that long? Excuse me, I need to go lie down. I feel so old all of a sudden.
