Due to preparations for the New Year's Day parade work on the Christmas special was put on hold as the parade was the greater priority.

As noted in the topic, the parade was a success, and hopefully we'll be able to publically announce the total shortly.

The former Christmas special has been reworked slightly, but has ended up being appropriately timed following the crazy snow we've had this past month.

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 78: Slow Flake

Additionally, 2010 is Ghostbusters.nuts' 7th year, and because I missed the 5th anniversary, I'm going to be doing something special for the 7th. More details on that will be posted shortly.

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 79: Bloody Maries

Special thanks to Fritz Baugh for creating the insane persona of Mary Sue Gladstone.

As I mentioned in my last post, Ghostbusters.nuts turns 7 this year, and due to me missing the 5th anniversary, I want to make up for that.

(Nearly) 7 years ago, Ghostbusters.nuts started up at a time in the community where a lot of public warring was taking place between two of the big personalities, in one corner was this site's Admin, Chad Paulson, in the other was Bo Holbrook.

The conflict at that time, and the release of The Matrix Reloaded created the inspiration for the first ever Ghostbusters.nuts strip:

The Ghostbusters Revolutions

To mark the occasion of the 7th anniversary, the original webcomic that started it all will be redrawn and remade, featuring today's styling and format. Once finished it'll be posted up on the webcomic's 7th Birthday.

However, for those who are interested, I am also toying with the idea of creating a panel featuring those who would like to appear in an edition of Ghostbusters.nuts, if you're interested, please PM me a photograph of yourself which I can use for reference, and state whether you'd like to be depicted in the garb of an Agent, or as one of the resistance. (If you have a fictional appearance, such as Fritz Baugh, this is also acceptable)

Lol…well, I guess, depending on how you view it, Rachel does have the advantage of being an official Mary Sue instead of just one some fan hack came up with.

I guess I'll also take the chance to pimp the story Mary Sue Gladstone stars in:

Ghostbusters.nuts Issue 80: Late Billing

Could it be that there's more than we were aware of that led to Bill's remarks as he was being interviewed by David Letterman?
