STANDARD COMICS

Standard comics will feature parodies of the community members as they go about their daily lives on the message board, including posts, replies, spam and other such things. Their length will usually be about three panels, so scripts may be a little tight…though stories lasting maybe six panels can be done on two strips, depending on things…that'd need to be worked out.

SPECIALS

Every once in a while, a special will arise, possibly a parody, it will be longer then the standard's three panel length. Parodies would be of anything, from film, TV or even book and special community events, possibly Christmas and Halloween specials.

Anyway, we're getting a lot of written talent, c'mon budding artists! There must be someone out there intrested!

Start expecting the first comic soon.

I'm not that great of an artist, but I am a writer, I'm on the comic book staff at school. Last year my school started to publish a comic book, it's just a once a year thing, they already publish a literary magazine once a year, and they decided to make a comic book branch of that. My brother was the editor-in-chief last year, making him the first editor of the only comic book published by a high school in the U.S. (At least, we think it's the only one…) I decided to join the staff this year, we have 11 members, which is almost double the staff that there was last year, six people. The comic book is just a collection of short comics, only a few pages long each, there are also some single pannel ones too.

Unfortunatly, I don't really have any ideas right now, pretty much anything that I've thought of has already been posted by someone else. I've been trying to think of what my parodized name would be, but I'm not sure, my name's kind hard to parodize.

Parodies aren't too difficult, you just need to think of anything, maybe a pop culture thing and voila!

On the note of writer, parody something that's happened in the community recently, and post it, could be anything from that get rich quick guy to erm…AJ's leaving or the hacker, as long as it's tasteful, goodluck.
