sorry for the lack of updates i've been bogged down with work the last week or so…

We now have 4 new CGI guys onboard so we now have several ghosts in progress, some really excting stuff going on… we are still tinkering with the teaser trailer… but we should have it up soon, i had hoped to have it up aready but work got in the way…

we now have several new prop pieces, and production has picked up again after we had to break due to terrible weather conditions…

Any updates?

Yeh blue lights would have been awesome.. but we still managed to have an argument with the police over the amber… untill he found out they were perfectly legal

I had the police turn up at a film shoot once… except they were an armed unit. That was an enjoyable 6am morning.

yep the fantastic metro police… it did make me laugh the fact he didnt seem to understand what was going on.. as he was standing beside a car with GB logos on the doors and 3 guys in uniform… we explained we were filming a non budget rpoduction based on ghostbusters, and the its legal to use the lights!“

To which we got

” no i'm afraid i'm going to have to confiscate those lights and there'll no doubt be a fine… And film try pulling the other one sir!
(right well you have the guys in costume one guy with a canon xl 2 and tripod on his shoulder and one guy with a boom mic talking to you… What are you blind)

So we called the local station they looked it up and lo and behold… Amber lights are road legal… (he didnt say much ater that he just hoped into his car and drove off!)

I have the greatest respect for the Police, but that particular PC (I assume it was PC) was pretty ignorant. I wonder why he was unwilling to believe you were shooting a non-profit film.

some people like to use the little authority they have to their advantage…
