I was just wondering if there were any GB fans around the Southern Cal area. I'm a film student at USC and I was really interested in talking to people about the possible 3rd installment and the general aesthetics of the film. How is USC. Is it hard to get into. Im a jr. in Minnesota and have started to think about where I want to go to college.

I live in LA, Hollywood Hills to be exact. However, I'm not a student at USC.

I'm a freshman in Minnesota, planning to go to a Cali School, either UCLA, or USC.. or I may go in a different direction and go to a certain Massachusetts School. I plan to move to California after High School.

Im in North Cali and like ectoman I intend on going to one of the colleges here (if not just because its cheaper)

Loyola Marymount University (the Westchester/Marina Del Rey area).

And a screenwriting major minoring in production. So there ya go sameerism!

Sorry for the late response - I was doubtful of any responses. That aside, USC is getting a bit difficult to get in. My year the avg. SAT score was 1310 and GPA 3.8.(WT) Now, I'm hearing it's 1350 and a 4.0 GPA. It's quite a pretty penny to come here if you don't have any financial aid, but if you're interested in film, it's the right place to be. I haven't had any experience with UCLA film classes, but USC works with having a lecture then a discussion with a group of 20 students or so. I'm loving the classes and we have guest speakers coming in left and right - from Spielberg to Marcia Clark. UCLA's film program starts during the junior year, so that's one set back. Other California schools which I'm hearing good things from w/ film are Cal State University Northridge and Chapman University. Anyway, we should get in touch sometime, locals.

We should have a SoCal party or something. I'll bring the beer (providing everyone is of age).

I'll bring the Squeeze It's and Capri Sun's for us minors.
