My idea has Hades (the leader of the Underworld) wants revenge on the men, gods and the world that put him there. It'll do 'til I think of something else.

In my comic version ghostbusters the final destruction the ghostbusters has to do an exorcism ritual with the help of an old priest to weak the demon and then they can use their equipment and have some real fun.

i, personally would like to stick how GB1 and GB2 did it…not really a mythilogical creature but a powerful person at that time that most people dont know about returning with undescriable powers…

outside of the RGBs…fighting sam hain in a live action movie would look sooo lame haha…yes he was a cool villian but u have to admit, you cant be serious about fighting a guy when he has a pumkin as a head and a nose that looks like a carrot haha :-)

i like the idea ecto 1 had i think thats cool…i would enjoy hearing more about that villian and or fan fiction :p

since it took so long to get a GB3 i think it really has to be go BIG or go home. It sorta would have to possibly end the time of ghostbusters because i reeeeaaally doubt we could get a GB4 after the 3rd…. like many people said it should be them fighting demons the devil and other god-like creatures (basically like Gozer). sorry i can't think of any good ones at the top of my head.

Them trying to talk Venkman into busting again but he stay with his now current job and since they're gettin old get new GBs. Something happens and hell starts comming up and taking over the earth… The GBs have so many days to save the earth or it is the soul property of the devil. They go in are about to win but need one more blast and DUN DUN DUNDUNNN venkman shows up and blasts whoever is the final battle but before they can totally do it whoever it is grabs venkman and every calls for him to get loose but he can't and says “just do it i'll be fine” and they all finnish it with tears.

Thats just about perfect for Bill unless he wants to be in the whole thing or come back for the 4th if there is one…. well crap…. that really didn't go with the topic…. it sorta started to…. sorry all
