I agree with a couple people who suggested Angelina Jolie (I was thinking of her as a GB the other day in fact) and/or Christina Ricci. That would make a really nice GB flick…

nah, I think it would need to be either a no-namer or somebody that doesn't appeal to the eye like Britney Spears/Angelina Jolee does, all us guys would think about the whole movie would be their bodies.. it might take away from it. I'm not complaining ok, I'm still a MAN, but i'm just thinking about the wellfare of the movie… plus i'm not sure if they could afford anymore Big Namers..

Avril Lavigne. Hmm, I agree that she is cool, cute and talented as a singer/songwriter, but does she act? Anyone know?

The reason I suggested Avril is she is spunky and cute. She's sexy, but is at home being one of the guys. She is smart. I have no doubt she could be coached for acting and do a good job. She performs now in front of cameras for videos, and unlike Britney (who I love) who can't act because I don't think she's smart enough to, Avril has a brain.

So now let's do something to get this movie made. I posted an address on Ghostbusters.net last spring under my screen name GREENGHOST, giving the address of a Sony Pictures merchandising guy. You all need to write him, and tell HIM its time for new GB products, and that the movie is long overdue.
