loved it seen like 5 times with 3 differnt people. best line though “I am spock.” <Kirk> …Bullshit.

I'd honestly have to say that, I'm not a fan , but as far as action/effects go, this movie looks really cool.

I liked it, the characters were really good, except for how they put Spock and Uhura together because I don't remember that from the first series. I know it dosen't have to follow the original series to a T but I think Spocks the last character that they should have hooked up with anybody.

Well, yeah, the real Spock only becomes interested in women once every seven years. There was an entire episode of the original series, “Amok Time”, that was based on the concept.

I think it's things like this that get up the nose of the more hardcore Trek fans. It's one thing to say “The timeline since 2233 has been completely rewritten”…but “And somehow rewriting the timeline since 2233 has completely changed the laws of Vulcan biology” is something else.

I had to look at this movie from two stand points. A a movie fan and as a Star Trek fan.

As a movie fan, the movie was very good. The action was intense the story was good. If you never saw Star Trek before, this is a good experience.

As a Star Trek fan, I have to say that movie was good, but not excellent. A lot things changed too radically for me same with Spock and Uhura being together and James T Kirk's attitude at times which was too much for his character. Everything else was awesome and it was nice to see Leonard Nimoy as Spock one last time. The scene with Kirk and the green girl was funny though.
