alright everyone, this is really REALLY good news, i know how you guys feel when someone writes all that bull about “great news! all read!”, you think its something great about gb3 itself, you open it and its like, “oh, damn! whatever…” since bill murray and rietman are making that new film, i dont know what its called, its a comedy…this could help the cause! realtions! they could become cool with each other again, and who knows? maybe rietman will bring up GB3 at dinner or something, and they could go from there. who knows?? tips to GbslimerFan fro that great news, i hope hes right.

Murray and Reitman were always friends. It was never a matter of like or dislike. It is a matter of honoring or embarrassing the franchise. They could all cash really big checks and do it, screw us out of a good movie, but they haven't…I'm glad they won't.

The only way that I see this benefiting GB3 is if one day they're on the set and say, “You know, it was a lot of fun that time that we made those Ghostbusters films…” There's no falling out between any of the parties involved that would benefit from them teaming up in a film again.

i doubt it'll happen. There were rumors that something would come out of Evolution, and as a total failure as a movie, was a huge strike against ghostbusters 3. a random conversation is now more unlikely than ever, especially since Reitman is almost as against making a third film as Martin.

i kinda doubt a 3rd GB film is gonna get made anytime soon. not with the current atmosphere pervading the public. but who knows? maybe if the script writers have the GB go up against an islamic fundamentalist zealot ghost and beat on it with sludge made from concentrated patriotic fervor a 3rd film might get the green light.
