graphics seem crap

Like I said: on the screenshots on this site, the graphics seem crap. Couldn't they customize say Deus Ex… or Max Payne. THAT would be cool! Graphics have improved a lot since Doom…

Well, two things:

1) Doom's programming code is easier to work with than any of the games you list. There is a large mod community that knows how to work with that code.

2) You're looking a gift horse in the mouth. As always, if you can do a better job, do so! Make a total conversion for Quake II, Half-Life, Deus Ex, Unreal Tournament, or any other game of your choice. The rest of us are just grateful for what's been created. I don't think you're aware of the herculean effort that went into GB Doom.

No shiat.

Doom graphics were never THAT great in the first place. But look at other classic games!

Legend of Zelda DX for gameboy color lasted 2 years at #1 as the best gameboy game around according to Nintendo Power. And those graphics arn't that great either.

I'm currently working on a GB Starcraft map for all us GB/SC hybrids out there. Anyone? (BESIDES ME AND DUO)

A GB Starcraft map sounds interesting. I might even buy it if you make it. And yes, I have played the game before. Borrowed it from a friend. I just don't own it, though.

I would like to see a MOD for a better game like Half-life or quake 3, but…..I'm pretty satisfied right now with GBDoom!!! It rules all the same!!!
