Halo 3

so the time has finally come. the time to finish the fight has begun. i was one of the people who got his copy at midnight, and i must say this game is fantastic. the single player is great, and the multiplayer is off the chain. what's everyone else's opinion on it? and my gamertag is pantshater1224 if anyone wants to add me to play some slayer or co-op.

I had pre-ordered it, and got the game the day it came out, 9-25-07. I finally got a chance to play a little bit last night. The game is awesome so far!! The graphics are really good and detailed the environments are spectacular. You even get to weld the gravity hammer, oh hell yes. Finish The Fight!!!

I can't wait until I'm finally ready to get Xbox Live. I'm looking forward to playing the multi-player matches, and 4 player co-op. I might use that 48-hour trial that came with the game. That will tide me over until I can subscribe.

i bought it yesterday and…i really think it was over hyped.

its a good FPS, but really, so far, its no “BioShock” or “The Darkness”

true, but both of those games relied on really strong single player, and in the case of bioshock, there was no multiplayer and the darkness's multiplayer is crap. yes halo 3's story was good, as it “closed” out the trilogy, but its true strength lies in the co-op and multiplayer.
