Happy 25th Anniversary!

Still special effects are only part of why I like this movie, it has one the best stories ever in a comedy and I am glad that unlike comedies made today it does not need bathroom humor or sex jokes to make the viewers laugh.

While I agree a lot of movies today are over the top, there's plenty of sex humor in Ghostbusters:

“Are you Alice, menstruating right now?”

“That's the bedroom, but nothing ever happened in there.”
“What a crime.”

Ray + blowjob ghost

“I want you inside me.”
“Sounds like you got at least 2 people in there already, might be a little crowded.”

“Dickless.”

“We get this guy laid we won't have any trouble.”

Like I said, there's plenty. Its done in a funny, usually sophisticated manner unlike a lot of today's movies… but saying that Ghostbusters doesn't have sex jokes in it is ignoring some of the best jokes in the movie.

That's correct, Ivan Reitman said he wanted Ghostbusters to be “Edgy” but not “raunchy” unlike Animal House and National Lampoon Vacation

“He's a sailor, he's in New York, we get this guy laid we won't have any problems!” (I think that's the quote)

What I was trying to say in other post was that unlike many comedy films of the past 10 years, Ghostbusters had the good sense to not make a joke of a sexual nature every 2 to 5 seconds. Hope that I did not confuse everybody with my comment.

Yes, this is a movie that still holds up with audiences today of all ages and is still a masterpiece.
