We've all been Ghostheads since the movie came out,we've gotten the toys,clothes and other things,we've seen the movies,hundreds of times,we know everything about it,yet one thing eludes us(or me).What the heck is the name of the ghost in the logo?!

No one really knows, although I remember reading about the NOW! comics getting sued by whoever does the casper comics because of the resemblence between the white no-ghost logo and Casper…

Yeah, he doesn't have an official name.
Man that brings me back though. On the original board we had a thread going for a while to decide what his name is (heck the fans chose the name for fans of Ghostbusters, we named the round part of the proton pack, we might as well name the logo ghost).
Lots of people argued that the logo ghost shouldn't have a name, though I never understood why. I opted for the name ‘Buster’. Makes sense doesn't it? I seem to recall an RGB episode with a ghost named Buster too…

i think he DOES have a name… technically, since he's in the “no” little symbol thing and it's a “no ghost” logo… his name should be Ghost. Or at least, that's how I always thought about it… and as usual, I'm most likely wrong!

Thats a really frigging good question! damn! well they gave slimer a name, easily. he ticked peter off by sliming him. what did that ghost do aside from identify the Ghostbusters?
