I just sort've rediscovered this movie recently like I did Ghostbusters 2 years ago. “The ‘Burbs” is now one of my favorite movies. Its one of those quirky 80’s movies that you dont see anymore. Tom Hanks starred in it back in the day when did comedies.

I know some people that havnt. It sorta sucks bein 17. Everyone I know is into the Fasy and the Furious(Horrible Movie) or How High(Stupid) or Dumb and Dumber(its not a funny movie its just really dumb). No one my age recognizes old movies that are classics like Ghostbusters, The Goonies or other classics.

The Burb's was and is one of those great quirky movies that made spying on your neighbors just a bit more legal in certain area's.

I liked it…
again its a different type of humour just like Ghostbusters… all of todays comedies use other ways, almost more like a slapstick comedy. Its just changes in trends of society. The burbs belongs on comedy central they play lots of movies with similar style humour. By the way Comedy Central is airing Ghostbusters 2 again….
