I use win98 and I've had this problem a few times too. Try copying the link into a download manager such as Getright, gozilla or Download accelerator. Sometimes when the window flashes, it means the downloaded stopped or timed out. Which usually happens on busy servers or if the file's too big.

If it seems to get to 100% and flash, try looking in the windows/temp or windows/temp internet files and see if the zip file is there, sometimes it will download to there, but give you an error.

I'm having trouble getting Ghostbusters Doom to start. I downloaded GBDoom,Boom, then ZDoom. I tried to start and this message pops up “This application has failed to start because pte.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
Well, I tried that then I tried to put the right files to togther. I try to start it again and this message pops up:
”ZDoom fatal error! w_Get num name:playpal not found!"
could some one please help me; let me know what I'm doing wrong. :f
