For starters, things like this… Trying to get attention for leaving is often viewed quite negatively. If you want to stop coming here, just stop coming. It won't matter if you still have an account but never use it.

Second of all, people aren't “not getting along with you”. You expressed one idea in a GB3 thread that a few people didn't like and said didn't fit in with Ghostbusters. Its a message board. We're here to discuss things. People not liking your idea doesn't mean they're being rude. It means they're being honest. Just because everyone didn't jump up at once and tell you you had a great idea doesn't mean that we don't like you or that you should leave.

Its up to you though. If you can't take normal conversation and understand the fact that everyone doesn't have to love your idea, then you probably shouldn't be posting on any kind of fan community, for anything. You will never be able to please everyone, just be yourself, and enjoy talking about Ghostbusters. That's why we're here. But if you can't take it, its no big deal if you want to leave. Just leave, though, there's no need to try to get attention because you want to leave. We don't need the swan song.

It appears to me that a number of people have gotten into disagreements/arguments with Doctor Venkman here, but he nor any of the others have quit coming here because of it.

He wasn't solely referring to me, FYI. And either way, I agree with your point. We don't all have to agree, and arguments happen. Doesn't mean anyone doesn't belong here. No one should stop coming here because they don't agree with someone or don't like someone. Its very easy to just ignore those that bother you, if they bother you that much.

Been down this road kid, and if you don't believe me, ask around.

Advice, just try to tone down the off-topic stuff, and fandom. Everyone here has they own ideas for what GB franchise should be about. But, most don't waste time voicing it all the time. You might as well talk to a wall if thats what you came here to do.

As far as people not liking people in the forums….You have no idea. Names need not be dropped, lets just say, expect negative reactions from some here no matter what you say, or how open you make it sound. Some here are jerks that have been on these boards for years, and they love being the Walter Peck of the forum.

I can't remember how many arguments I've gotten into around here, and other places. Doesn't make me wanna leave though as it happens very scarcely. Don't expect everyone to agree with your ideas, cause that just leaves to disappointment.
