I just got this game today and I'm stuck at this part. I'm in the office building where the marshmallow creatures swarm you from the roof vents and I keep dying. Ray keeps mentioning things like run and make a hole, but I'm not sure what to do. I tried running down the hallway and he says its the wrong way and I get cornered by the creatures. I don't see where I'm supposed to make a hole? The doors don't work in that room… you can't jump through the windows…

I'm at a loss and died about a dozen times here already. Any help for those who got past this part? I must be missing something…

use the stasis shotgun.. when the gather up in a group.

He won't have that ability at that point in the game.

What you need to do is fire a boson dart where there are clusters of them, move to the other side of the room, turn, fire another boson dart at another cluster and repeat. Eventually you'll wear them down. And what ever you do, when Ray goes down, revive him.

Oh man, this definitely got me the first time I played through it.
The only other time I just couldn't get something was later on in the game with the flying flaming cherubs.
