well river, i've heard that the information in the MAKING GB book is wrong, that aykroyd had always meant the ectomobile to be a 59. the early concept drawing shown in the book is one of many aykroyd had commisioned to help sell his screenplay, which means that it was a '59 in his first script, though it was drawn white to show the details better.

a 75 should be easier to find in decent shape, though.
