Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, but I've been a fan of all things Ghostbusters since I was 4!

Anyhoo, I think that it would be brill if there was a GB3, in fact I've been waiting for it for many years. However, I think we all have to accept the possibility that the old cast would probably not be in it.
I read an interview with Sigourney Weaver in ‘Empire’ magazine and someone asked her if there would be a GB3. She said something along the lines of “I think our bustin' days are long gone. I think we'd just be a bunch of very sorry, old Ghostbusters now.”
I also saw Bill Murray on ‘Banzai’ the other week (he was with Mr Shakehands Man!) and he looks REALLY old!

But I think that as long as the guys are involved somehow, it doesn't really matter who straps on the Positron colliders………

Well this is what I have heard. Two years ago there was a interview on Access Hollywood with Dan Akroyd on GB3. And he said that he didn't think that the orignal cast was going to appear in the moive. He said he would be glad to do another one but he wouldn't be able to do a lot. HE was thinking that he was going to be in like the beginning of the movie and it was going to show him training a new team of Ghostbusters. It might be cool but I will miss Bill. He's the heart of Ghostbusters. I also heard that Will Smith might be in the movie but I don't think that would be right. Anway just hope they can make GB3.

ive said this before, but i never get tired to say it…

bill is ok, paint his hair black, put some hair on dan, plus a little diet, harold has to loose 20 pounds…and ernie, never saw him again…

I've heard the same rumors, but my sources have been from Entertaiment Magazine that Bill Murray will never, ever, ever, ever do another Ghostbusters movie.

It would be sooo good to have a Ghostbusters 3, but without the old ‘busters I don’t think it would be as good. Look how Home Alone 3 turned out (it just wasn't the same with different characters).I think that the old 'busters could still come back (special effects can work wonders these days and make them look a little younger), but new characters could be in it.

well special effects can make them LOOK younger, but their movement is not as good as a couple of years ago

I think GB3 without the old GBs will be as good as with them! Sure they should have a role in it, like trainiers ore something like this! But a New Crew HAS TO be on stage!!!

And with today technoligy there will be the BEST MOVIE of the YEAR: GHOSTBUSTERS 3

The more I think about it, the less I want anew crew, it messes up the dynamics of the serires…

Hey, I'm new, too. I think GB3 could definitely work with the original crew. Sure, they're not exactly young, but it could be funny seeing them running around, trying to save the world when they're in their mid 50s. It could be a new challenge to them. What used to be simple, like sliding down the firepole, etc., could be a tad bit harder for them. Ghostbusters III could be a movie about overcoming the odds. And, y'know, busting a few heads.
