why question people so much? (*winston)

Because in this particular case, I cannot fathom why someone would need ten Hotwheel Ecto-1s, when they're already being released in more limited qualities compared to some of the other cars made by Hotwheels, and there've been plenty of people remarking that they haven't been able to find them at their local stores.

Owning ten, frankly, is greedy.

I concur, which is why, upon finding another Ecto at a local Kmart, I left it right there in front of the peg. I like to think this made some other ghosthead's day.

As a toy collector id have to say that there is really nothing wrong with having some multiples of the same thing, ten may be overdoing it but if there are variations like that the numbers do add up, I myself have 5 of the regular 25 ecto, people pick them up for me, its hard to find goood collectable GB stuff at a low price.

WELL , I said I HAD 10 , but as usual I sold mostly all of them to people who couldn't get them. Your always so quick to jump on people. Its not your money so why do you care? It still looks very dumb

never owned 10 all together. And making a GB heads day is what i do best. Ive sold like 6 four packs and sold them all for cost to board members. Did this with ectos and minimates for dozens of people.

Your always so quick to jump on people.

You boasted about owning ten and only revealed you'd sold a lot of them after I'd remarked on that, if you don't want me to be so “quick to judge” then maybe you should ensure that information was there from the beginning.

Its not your money so why do you care? It still looks very dumb

I care because it made you look like you were hoarding them.

i hoard all GB products . You should be used to that by now . I got the money to do so and proud of it

and if i see an ecto everytime i go to walmart , there is no reason i cant grab every damn one , should it be 10 or 1000. My choice

I got my 4th ECTO-1, which has a box that's a bit crinkled, and so I decided to open it. I got around to opening it on Halloween day, as fate would have it.

Excellent looking car, and the removable roof rack is really awesome. However, as I already pointed out in this thread, the paint jobs on these ECTOs just don't seem as good as the paint job on my first ECTO-1, which has a “2010 HW Premiere” box.

At first I was thinking Hot Wheels went ghetto style on the ones in the #25 boxes, but now I'm certain that it's just variations in the quality of the paint jobs, and that I only lucked out on my first one. Though I do hope to find and open one with a pretty good paint job before these things disappear from the local stores around here.

For those who live in a state that has a Menards hardware store, they are receiving 12+ cases of Hot Wheels all of which are Ecto-1 cases. For a store locator:
