I've got 3 Ecto's….did have 4 but gave it to my best friend since I couldn't find any more, I have plans on converting the other 2 of mine into E1A and E1B, that way I have my own versions.

Totally unrealted to the HW E1, but Matchbox has a 1963 Cadillac Superior hightop out, I've got 2 of those as well, display them with my Ecto's as well.

For those who live in a state that has a Menards hardware store, they are receiving 12+ cases of Hot Wheels all of which are Ecto-1 cases. For a store locator:

These Hot Wheels are intended for the Black Friday sale.

Sometime during the beginning of October I got a Matchbox 1963 Cadillac hearse, and for the sake of displaying it with the ECTO-1. They go well together.

-

I went to a grocery store today and they had a whole bunch of “2010 HW Premiere” cars, but unfortunately the ECTO-1 was nowhere to be found. However, I saw the Batmobile, and though I'm not even a fan of Batman, I bought it. The car just looked interesting to me, and I thought that it may be hard find, especially in a first edition package. I don't know though, but either way, movie cars are always neat.

Just as I thought they were gone for good, I found one at Wal-Mart.

Ironically, this was at the same Wal-Mart which I first looked for the ECTO-1 in, and that was during January 2010, one year ago from today.

I've always been checking at Wal Mart for one of these Ectos every time I've went, and can never seem to find any. Ah well, I wouldn't bother with them now that the new uber-detailed versions by Hot Wheels are confirmed.
