If you you've got the spare energy to get worked up over a two-buck toy, go for it, but it seems a waste to me.

If people have the spare energy to get worked up over a two-buck toy, they have the energy to give it the neccesary additional paint applications to make it a bit more detailed.

I think you lot are more worked up about a $2 toy with all the comments posted, all I said was that it looks like a reject from a Happy Meal and I still think it does.

I think some people on this forum will purchase anything as long as it has a No Ghost logo on it, I prefer to only purchase items that are of better quality.

Wow, a $1 ECTO-1, even I could afford this.

When I was younger Hot Wheels had awesome/realistic looking cars. These days I find their cars ridiculous looking. The “normal” car models have crazy paint jobs and colors while the “concept” car models have engines and wheels that are far too cartoony looking. This here is not bad, especially with what Hot Wheels has been putting on the store shelves lately.

Not an exact date. I did some google-ing and everything just parrots “mid-january” - though I was at Walmart last night and it looked as if they had just stocked the hot wheels. Alas, no Ecto yet.

Anyone know which day of the week new hotwheels are delivered/stocked? I'm guessing they'll appear the week of the 18th…

I would have LOVED to have had this car when I was a kid, and I rather expect to enjoy picking one up at this age.
