Are Hot Wheels really still a $1? I haven't checked their prices in years. I hope the Kmart in my area gets these in stock, any other store is much further.

They are actually, I just checked my local Wal-Mart and they are $0.99 + tx.

No Ecto yet though lol

I looked again at the link Ecto-Collector posted, and I say the ECTO-1 looks the best out of all the cars Hot Wheels is releasing. Looks descent, plus it actually has an interior. The yellow car on there seems to have only solid black windows and the other cars appear to be more for the younger kids.

I'd say Hot Wheels did an outstanding job on this car based on the previews. Especially for the ECTO-1, a very complex car with the geometry, lots of curved shapes and angles.

I like the looks of it. I just searched ebay yesterday to see if anybody had gotten hold of one and was selling it.

Guess they didn't make any additions after all. Strange how on the cover art they colored the left tank/cylinder thing (I forget the proper term) green instead of yellow. Looks kinda cool though.

nice though i'm not a hotwheels fan.. it could be more iconic and nostalgic if they did the same vehicle the ghostbusters used..

The left (long side) tank on the Ecto-1 is green, I'm wondering if people mis-remember it as yellow because both tanks were yellow in RGB.

these are out they are now on ebay so start you search of walmarts etc.
