How are your neighbors?

I got great neighbors that I don't really see either, the one to the left of me is an older black woman that was in the Korean war that is such a nice lady, bakes me sweet patato pies and everything. Always says hi and would do anything for my family.

If I was in a lot of your positions, I'd have done something. Said something. You can't just expect the behavior to stop

oh yes, we did that. I had a talk with the man and I was surprised by the results. But the circus came back and it was not necessary to waste our time again. It was exagerated. And drugs just turn people even more selfish. I dont think, considering his personality, that he would have tolerated his own behavior as long as we did. We were sure that it was going to end like it started… five years…

Then when they were playing in the backyard my cousin Scott threatened to come over and beat them up.

That's the mistake. For a ball, it doesn't worth it. Even if they said their dad doesn't care, you should have tell him (or your parents); it was probably a lie to get the above.

But isn't it something easy to say than being in the situation.

Now when we are outside at the same time we just swear at each other.

Believe me, we grow up real fast; forget the “wordsgame”, just enjoy your space. On our side, we just ignore them. *It's not always possible* but we concentrate on more pleasant things. And that's what's important.

My GF an I got lucky with our apartment. Our neighbors consist of two old ladies down stairs, and a guy who lives across the hall, who works midnights, and basically sleeps all day, so it's pretty quiet. Not to mention we're only like a 2 min walk from where we work.(*peter)

Those are easy to ignore but how do I ignore our other people in the neighborhood who talk loudly in their backyard at late hours. Once they even had a fight and swore at each other and he drove off real fast. I guess the friend kicked him out of the house or something my dad almost called the police but then the friend left.

Good old Calforian Neighbors.

Now it depends on how far they are from you; if they are like two houses or more from your home, I suggest to leave the problem to the people who is closer to them. Anyway, leave to your parents the decision; they know the options. If Security is necessary, they'll make a call; be happy, it's not an haunted house… only good ol' residencial problems

Ahh yes the neighbors the two next to me are ok but the one behind me was a pain. I had just gotten out of the military police and walked in the door (still in uniform) when my brother (a cop) handed me one of his belts with gun and all on it and said lets go out back. this dude was cursing out my mom because she asked him if he could turn down his music. we walked up to the guy told him to knock it off he threw a beer bottle at my brother we jumped the fence and put him in cuffs. to this day I havent heard a word from him I love California lol

That's 2 points for the “Good old Calforian Neighbors” now… or people were out of luck where they live like me or… c'mon, California can't be like this (*janine)

My wife and me has a family with 4 kids (three of them twins - or whatever you called it, but the three born the same time-) as neighbors, and those are a little bit noisy… specially the sunday mornings (the only day of the week I can sleep til late).
