We can point out when they break a rule, we can follow the rules, and we can be nice. That should improve things.

i think we should uhhh…..have the rules more clear to the newer members and have a specialist in certain things so if a newbie asks a question only few ppl answer instead of bombard the guy

Maybe there could be a set of rules for the rating system.

NOw, I'm not a mod, however I feel I do not want to have to be worried about being banned if I slip up because I broke a rule, there's too many rules already. And I personally like the rating system, but I do think that it causes problems. SO try cutting down on the rules, and making a few strick ones, ones that will stick, or give them penalties, not immediate banning, slip once, one day banned, slip twice 5 days banned, slip again, site misconduct. smile

wayne, I think that is a good idea, because some people may do something wrong which they didnt mean to, and this could lead to being banned but if you give them, like you said a temporary ban, and then if they do something wrong again then that could lead to permanent dismissal

There are only 6 stated rules, and they're all important rules that aren't very harsh at all. And it's not do one thing wrong, your banned. Bannings are usually for something major, and I haven't seen anyone banned after one slip up.
