The point is for him to remain as anonymous as possible.

I'd see it playing out somewhat like what Scott described.

Yes, they confirmed in one of the early videos that the Rookie has no dialogue.

Like I said, we're not going to hear the rookie talk… your scenario had him talking, so I think Scott's is closer to what we might hear.

I'm not a fan of the idea. I can see it working in a Real Ghostbusters episode, but for the game it doesn't make sense. I am supposed to be the rookie and I most certainly am human and not some Anti-Gozerian resistance fighter.

Maybe the rookie is a descendant of an ancient race of people who fought off gozer in the past.

Along the time line they breeded with the humans

the more I think about it, the more I like it.

At the end, you lose control of the rookie, and you take control of Louis who runs in to help bust the rookie boss!
