Something I've been thinking about before the game is officially released…how well do you guys think this game would play out if it had been the RGBs and not the OGBs doing the voices, the artwork, story, etc?

Perhaps just replacing the OGBs with the RGBs (voice actors and likeness)?

I haven't seen anyone else discuss this and now I'm really curious. People, myself included might change our minds upon playing it but I think right now it might work the RGB route. Mainstream people probably might not like it but….

well, what do you guys think?

If they looked like Aykroyd, Murray, Ramis, & Hudson, then I don't think it would have worked.

If they looked like the RGB versions, yes.

It may just be me, but personally I STILL think the RGB cast voice actors would have been better suited for the Wii version that the original cast members voices.

Well, Ive just been thinking about it when I've been rewatching the trailers in these last couple of hours before the release. I can almost hear Maurice laMarche and Frank Welker saying the same thing that Ramis and Dan say in the trailer. Heck, after watching all the RGB DVDs I'm ALMOST wishing that instead of the real guys, they got the RGBs instead. And I don't mean just the RGB voice actors, I mean Egon would have the blond hair, the guys would match their RGB cartoon counterparts, even bringing back the first Janine to reprise her role (she did it to some extent when intro'ing the shows on DVD) There's just so much creative ground for an RGB version or possibly as a sequel.


Hmm…if this one does well enough, an RGB version sequel would be good I think. How bout it? Surely to get Murray and everyone on board for a sequel for this game I think it would be impossible to do it all again.




Don't get me wrong, Im VERY HAPPY that the OGBs are doing it. But I always wonder What if?
