well there was one guy that said
“Still nothing official from Seb, didn't he say there would be an update this week?”

and I originally replied saying something like “I would take that with a grain of salt as far as updates go” in a way that did sound a bit annoyed and frustrated as we all who ordered are and it was deleted. So I replied again quoting the guy saying “yeah, he did say there'd be an update this week”

then it was deleted and I'm banned. I guess that'll teach me to try and get answers about promised updates on a product I and many many others spent $30 bucks on and still have nothing to show for it over 2 years later…I was clearly in the wrong… (*ray)

I don't see why you got banned if you didn't do anything that bad… you were not accusing him of anything you were only asking about his own promised update… as buyers who already paid for the book we got the right to ask for news as much as he has the right to remain silent about it… my paypal invoice shows US $39.82, which was like 46,00$ CND…

will I get banned now too because I sympathize with you? let's hope not…

I guess to them I could have been perceived as a nuisance for repeatedly bringing their faults to their attention. It's the promised updates that had me feeling like we deserved some info, since it was said it would be given to us. I guess I could see it a little bit from their point of view. But if I knew I wasn't any closer to a resolution, I wouldn't have the forums up for people to ask about it let alone make promises I couldn't keep.

I really was silent about it for the few years. :p I did make some comments saying the hardcover was probably nothing more than stacks of blank paper even with the updates promised, I did say I didn't say it to start stuff just I'd love to be proven wrong and given “the updates” and ask why it was said we would have info if we weren't allowed to know anything. I'm still wondering if the “update coming” was to get us off their back every so often.

EDIT: Nevermind I made that blank stack of papers comment here I think.

I heard abouy your apparent banning through here and I've been watching the discussing here since you first posted about it… there is a Mod Only forum at WH but this kind of stuff rarely ever gets discussed, or even mentioned there.

That's pretty rough that you got banned for nothing about something that was promised last week, and many times before that. I love how every time something starts to happen over in Weaver Hall he deletes everything and says “don't worry, new news in a week”. It's always the same thing.

Maybe if Ghostbusters 3 is successful someone will buy up the rights and release some stuff on time.

I don't see why he can't just say “sorry guys I know I've messed up. The hardcover is still behind so I won't really know what's going to happen with it for awhile.” Be honest about the updates.

It's ok. Yeah Ben, I figured it was one of those things. “WE” meant Seb… :-) It's ok though. I was really just asking for it by repeatedly asking about the hardcover. I'm still patiently awaiting news. I should just shut up and let the news come when it may.

Enough negative slime from me, here's something that should make everyone smile hopefully…
