I have had an idea about the rating system, maybe we can take a leaf out of eBay's book by implementing a “reply” ability to each rating, to answer any questions and so on. Does anyone else get what I mean?

thats a great idea! because i hate it when people rate their own stuff a high number just to reply to what someone else said and i was wondering the same thing, good job KP

Well, for one thing, you could always check his posts or profile for his e-mail address if you want to talk to him, and if it's not available, then it's probably because he doesn't want it to be, and therefore wouldn't be right to have a way to e-mail him anyway. And for another thing, alot of people who give bad ratings do so just to be annoying, mean, or whatever. Though there are a few who may just be misinformed about detail or something.

They should just make it impossible for the authoer to rate his or her own work. I find it offensive when someone rates their own work.
