How was everyone's thanksgiving?

Everyone would've, the difference being they're not still whining about it.

My Thanksgiving went… well, I dunno, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here.

*Shrugs* Again, what can I say, I don't like getting the shaft from big business.

We don't have any holiday on the 28th, I was joking. :p

The 28th is just like any other day in the non-holiday calendar over here.

I can't see how it could be a global holiday, when it was commemorating the meal between the Puritans and the Native Americans.

You could say that you enjoyed the turkey and the cranberries, and that it was great being with your family. That was all that was required, and would've served the point of the topic.

I'm not even American, but I find it somewhat insulting to bitch about the game in a topic about a holiday where you say what you're thankful for, and (in the better set of circumstances), get to spend time together as a family.

I think it's especially inappropriate to be complaining about it in this topic, in light of the poor guy who was trampled to death at Wal Mart on the “institution” of Black Friday, and the attacks in Mumbai. Be thankful that we're still going to get it if you have the undying need to mention it, but to have it be the defining point of your post, as if it's delayed release personally undermined Thanksgiving 2008?

You seriously need some perspective.

Now it isn't Thanksgiving anymore, but I can tell you what I'm thankful for. I'm thankful that my family's around and pretty close by, I'm thankful that in the awful economic climate, we haven't been badly affected so far… and I'm thankful for the fact, that come June, you will finally shut up about Activision and Ghostbusters: The Video Game getting delayed.

I can see where jka12002 would think it was a global holiday…the origin may not be shared but the purpose would still be there…none the less

*Shrugs yet again* If thats the way you feel, fine, I won't post again until the game's released.

Exhiling yourself from the forum doesn't have to be neccesary, but you've got to get over what happened because it happened, and nothing's going to change.

As long as you don't utter another word about the game's delay, about Activision and your views of the company, about boycotting Activision's upcoming products, and anything else likely to send you on yet another anti-Activision, Ghostbusters: The Video Game whine, then I think things should go pretty well.

A little self control can work wonders.

You know, I forgot to mention since I'm Canadian (eh? lol) my thanksgiving actually passed about a month ago. But in terms of American timing, it went good.

Unfortunately, I can't. There was a great big fight over nothing within my family a few days beforehand, and it soured the mood of this year's Thanksgiving. And I mean soured–the feast tasted horrible because we were all in such a bad mood.

As a lot of you know, I play World of Warcraft (another Blizzard / Activison product) extensively. One of the things that I love to participate in within the game is going on instance/dungeon runs. But sometimes my friends or guildmates are unavailable to go join me. Because of this sometimes I have to resort to go through with PUG’s (Pick up Groups) of perfect strangers I have never met in order to complete the party minimum and get things done. Because you are playing with perfect strangers…sometimes things do not always go the way they are planned (hell, even with friends and guildmates…things can go bad fast) and because of that characters die, parties wipe, and sometimes instance/dungeons are never completed…

Ok, I said all of that to say this. Shit happens. It’s an unfortunate fact of life.

Wow, if only everyone else's world revolved around playing Ghostbusters: The Video Game. (*janine)

Riddle me this jka. Would you feel different if you were a moderator on a forum where an individual posted essentially the same point on multiple other threads over the past few months ad nauseam? And then on a Holiday thread he chose to do the same thing? I dunno about you but that would drive me batty.

Don't get me wrong…I am sure Jonathan Archer is a wonderful person..and there are a few times where we both have had the same point of view on things…but honestly dude…you made your point months ago…it's time to stop beating the dead horse.
