How would everyone think of an anime Remake of Ghostbusters

It's actually an arguement as to whether RGB is or isn't anime. I can see some things about it that do resemble anime, but mostly I'd say it isn't.

Same here, Maybe a direct to film animated film would be cool to see,but remakin the movies in Animated form wouldnt be a wise choice to make lol. like dont get me wrong cuz im a anime freak, But I prefer Ghostbusters to be live action. The Breaking The Habit video is a good example of how much Anime has changed for the best. It may be scratchy but the detail an shadowing are prime an great. :p

well, RGB wasn't exactly anime, but more like the western form of it, known at the time as “80's anime”, it was used in a bunch of toons.

I agree with some of you people that if they made Ghostbusters into todays anime form then it would not be that good. My friends like anime but I do not because..well…there is hardly any movement. I like the 80's style animation. Also Thundercats and Transformers used similar animations like GB's and todays style would not be good.

What would really kick ass is a claymation Ghostbusters. Only if Tim Burton did it though.

Do you mean claymation or Nightmare Before Christmas-style stop motion animation?

Well claymation is done with stop motion, but yeah, I guess the Nightmare before Christmas style. Though on second thought it all sounds like a bad idea…..Then again, it would be cool if Tim Burton directed a normal live action Ghostbusters movie with Dan Aykroyd.

I don't think Tim Burton would be the right man for the job. Ivan Reitman is willing to do a GB3, Danny and Harold are willing…… but I don't think it'll happen, considering the fact, they're just too old. An EGB-like GB3 could work, but Bill owns some of the rights, so if he doesn't agree on another movie… it's no.

About the anime…. I wouldn't like them to do a movie… however a new series would work… I'm sure of it.

Well I'm not being serious or anything. I'm just saying in perfect world it might be cool do something like that.
