How would everyone think of an anime Remake of Ghostbusters

Personally, I can't stand 99% of most of the anime out there.

What I'd like to see is a new Ghostbusters cartoon animated by Dong Woo Studios. They're the studio behind Men in Black: the series, Masters of the Universe, TMNT, Stripperella, The Batman and Jackie Chan Adventures.

Their style is very fluid, detailed and a perfect blend of both Western and Japanese influences. They brought back both He-Man and the Turtles, I think they'd do just as well with the Ghostbusters.

Dude, there's anime, then there's imitation anime. I'm getting sick of america trying to copy Japanese sytle animation. There's no uniqueness in anime anymore.

Also, the fact that every time Japan comes to mind, you think of anime. It's annoying. You don't think of any shows like Ultraman, Kamen Rider, or Super Sentai (the series Power Rangers is based on).

I was did an international night at my school, where we take a room, and fill it was stuff from a specific country. I took Japan, and practically all displays were anime. I was like the only person to be a a little variety, with my sentai toys (ok, they were just boxes, but better than nothing).

Anyway, sorry to go off topic a bit. I wouldn't really want Ghostbusters in anime style. It's gonna be messed up, like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime.

I try to keep anime as far away from me as I possibly can. I LOATHE The Batman, that show is SOOOOOOOOOO terrible.

The only anime movie that I even remotely enjoyed was Spirited Away and the stupid witch with the big nose made it dumb.

And I don't even think I've even watched anything that has to do with TMNT since 1992.

Why'd it ‘make it dumb’? The character from my impression was meant to make things seem weird and that she was larger then life.

Idk, I remember enjoying it until whenever she came on screen with her big nose. But I haven't seen the movie in about 6 or 7 years though.

I hate Anime, manga, and anything else where characters have turnip heads and facial features that aren't attached to their faces.

I never read Manga, didn't ever want to but there's one Manga writer name Kia Asuymami(sp) who did an american Batman novel, Child of Dreams, that was really cool.

Child Of Dreams was fantastic.

Wasn't that one where Batman ended up meeting the ultimate obsessive? One where said fan had even replicated the Bat Cave in intricate detail.

And he clones all of the villains.

And I thought I was the only Batman geek here

I'd seen that graphic novel in my bookstore a few times… I loved, amongst other things the painted cover for it as it was obviously inspired, style wise from the first Tim Burton film.
