Kingpin
I'd seen that graphic novel in my bookstore a few times… I loved, amongst other things the painted cover for it as it was obviously inspired, style wise from the first Tim Burton film.

Yeah but only the cover. It would have been so much cooler if the entire novel had drawings with Keaton's Batman instead of an anime Batman.

Since it's not a tie in with the movie, they would of needed to get the rights for keatons likeness, and all that stuff is really really anoyying.

What do I think of an anime remake of Ghostbusters?

If it was done right I would be ok with it. I'm an anime fanatic.

Honestly Id like to see a full feature film created by 88mph Studios about Ghostbusters. with a similar taste of Titan AE to it.
im gone.

That would be genius… Titan AE was amazing… but the problem with that is if it was 88 MPH, I would say it should be straight to video, because you can't throw and alternate universe out there in the theatres.. people would get thrown off
I concur. I'm an anime fanatic myself, but I just don't know. Then again, most of RGB's animation team was japanese, weren't they?

I think Ghostbusters would be interesting as an anime, there's a Batman anime coming out to DVD that takes place between “Begins” and “Dark Knight”.

Anime can vary differ styles too lol

(*janine) No, absolutly no! No away!!!
Anime its good, but I dont think so a good idea, it would clear the true essence of the cartoon. Would be make it to same animation studio (toei co.) that's japanese animation studio and to make ghostbuster animation in 80's and the animation it's great, but in this time, it so very expensive.
Its a only alternative so that the Japanese animation had participation in a possible sequel, and not to make the charters style

Well maybe an anime spin-off movie series of “Ghostbusters” would be cool and i think the guy behind “Ninja Scroll”, “Wicked City” and “Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust” Yoshikita Kawijrri can animation designer and director.

I think Studio Pierrot, the guys who do BLEACH, would be a good choice to do a GB anime. Either them or Akira Committee(the corporations that funded and produced Akira).

Well ok but i think you mean Katsuhiro Otomo, but how about that Ninja Scroll director or Peter Chung, creator of “Aeon Flux”?
