I will be locking this shortly because I'm amazed you felt it was the best route to start a new, off-topic post complaining about people apparently not taking you/your work seriously when you should have kept these comments in the original topic for your script.

However, there's a number of things I'd like to bring up… I don't see any notice about your change in profile, why'd you ditch your ‘beany302006’ account and become ‘Dr. Spengler’?

Now if we're talking about your script with the Ghostbusters fighting Pennywise the clown, which can be found HERE how are those comments ‘not serious’? You were seriously changing the source material from one franchise in addition to using incomplete material from another, I had nothing but the best intentions when I gave you that feedback.

As for your other story, that also borrowed way too much from existing franchises… ghosts can be worked into it given the nature of Ghostbusters but including the T-1000?

Some of the comments in that topic, found HERE might have been harsh, or badly worded but there was worthwhile criticism in the topic. A dramatic, and rather childish tantrum of throwing up your hands and declaring “I GIVE UP!” is hardly going to improve your public appearance or the acceptance of your work in the eyes of your fellow board members.

And as I have mentioned, please keep these posts to your already existing topics given the fact this is directly related to your fan film script, it should have been posted there.

Also there's lots of fan made Ghostbusters out there now including two that is coming out soon which will probably will end up being a huge hit on the Internet. Who knows if anyone can match or do better than those two fan films.

It is the “Return of the Ghostbusters” and “Ghostbusters Generation”.

If I was going to do a fan made Ghostbusters, I probably will not do anything big. One idea I have is make a fake movie trailer of Ghostbusters 3 and a music video.

If you are writing these fics for your own pleasure, amusement, or creative outlet, then don't listen to any criticism.

But if you are making something and hoping to get a positive reaction from others who read it, you'd better make sure it's quality material.

It's not my fault, as a member of the audience, that certain movies suck.
