I have to show this off

I liked the original as well and it fit the RP at the time.

But with a revamp and restart trying to stay as close to the movies as possible a redesign was required..

Of the 2 I personally like the second one the best for 2 reasons:
Classic Proton Pack
Classic (with small tweaks admittedly) Jumpsuit

Edit:
We are currently making a Bible for our RP for quick reference of names, events and places since we both have bad memories apparently and change our minds on things as ofter as we change clothing…

My crappy attempt to color her art. Maybe it will get her off her butt and off of WoW long enough to color here…

Not bad work, not bad at all. Still try to perfect my coloring/photoshop skillz if I could get off the 360 and L4D…

James, I was actually gonna ask if there was a tutorial as I've been interested in trying to do something like digital painting for a while now.

It ain't crappy.

I personally do not use tutorials (which is probably my problem right there). I just mess around and find out what I like through trial and error. But if you would like I am sure I could find some really good tutorials for you.
As far as what I do.

1) Color everything on a layer set to multiply above the line art. This preserves the original artwork while darkening the lines in the artwork itself to make them stand through more prominent than the colors themselves.
2) Cell shade the shadows on a layer (also set to multiply) below the colors and above the line art. Once this shades are drawn and colored in I either a) leave them like they are, or b) blend the shadow borders to make them look smoother (like the jade image above).
3) Sometimes I do not do the Cell layer and just color the shadows on the color layer…depends on how lazy I am

I think I have completely and totally misunderstood your Statement Kingpin….
