I doubt they'd let the newbies upstage them, the trainees would play a minor role, and it would still be the main Gbs that get the action.

Well, it could very well be ruined (if ever made) however you have to realize that no matter what, Dan Akroid would be one of the script writers. gb is after all his baby, and like any obsessive mother it will be protected. I seriously doubt that the media will have a big enough influence on the movie to get some sculpted actor to get female teens in to see it. but you never know…

Don’t give up on the movie, because the second we do it will never be made. the fans are, after all the final say. Other wise they wont make it. But if the fans are really hyped and want a movie, like us trekies before the motion picture. those corporate loons will smell money, our money. And it will be made.

More or less he's right. I'd love to see GB3, you have some points, scripts seem crappy. But truthfully, deep down, we'd all see it still.

You guys shouldn't have anything to worry about. As a true Ozzy Osbourne FREAK, I have a sincere hatred for all these teen bands and their *so called* music. But from what I heard, according to Dan Akroyd himself, that the original Ghostbusters will be all there is. (They may have to put something in the script about how Venkman quit or something, I like Bill's acting and all, but what a loser!) I don't think Dan would let his dreams be ruined by n-sync or 98 degrees.

well even though some may gasp at the thought, you are right in that it would probably suck incredibly bad and it would probably disapoint all of the crazy fans. you know those guys wouldn't do another one anyways if they have half a brain but anyways i agree with you

I kinda don't think the movie will go over to well because it's not the ghostbusters era anymore, i would love to one come out, and i was pissed when i heard about it in 1997, and then it didn't come out and you didn't really hear anything about it, but what can you do? and i don't think they should make it bringing in new characters because it wouldn't be the same. extreme ghostbusters cartoon wasn't that great and it was along those lines. it has to be the originals or no movie at all.
