I live in Australia - should I order the Legion hardcover?

I heard that it's not going to be available for a while and I don't want to pay for something that may never see the light of day.
Any suggestions?

It's really up to you. If you haven't found the single issues, and you're willing to wait possibly months on end, then go for it… especially if you can afford to have that amount of money in a sorta limbo.

It really depends if you've got the patience or not.

Don't pay for this. Buy Titan's paperback collection, you get everything you would from the hardcover (sans Dan Aykroyd's foreword). That way you have the comics, and if the hardcover comes out, you can always steal a copy from someone.

Alternatively, its a unique oppertunity to obtain something completely collectable and your support will help to get it published.

Actually, it doesn't. The book being published by 88MPH contains extra material omitted from the Titan Book. Excluding original cover artwork, the 88MPH book also contains a forward by Dan Aykroyd (Like you mentioned above) and concept artwork for the series. I'm also on the understanding that the cover gallery will have a separate page for each over… instead where in Titan's book, the four principal covers by Brereton had the coves by Kurth superimposed over them… or vice versa. You don't really want artwork cluttering other artwork if you can avoid it.

But if you wanted it for the comics then you'd be better buying the paperback which is available, unlike the hardcover, which may never become available (though I'm sure that legally it has to). Though it is true that if you want all the extras, you're better waiting for the hardcover. I'd still avoid investing though, seeing as you'll see the money go, and then probably won't see anything result from it for a long time.

Thanks guys for your responses.
I think I will take the plunge and order the hardcover. I'm a huge fan of Graphic novels and TPBs and I love it when they are released in hardcover form. I also want to support it getting published.
My main concern was that this never going to be published, but as there is assurance that it will be, I'm looking forward to reading it.
Thanks again.

The hardcover will also have the Zeddmore Factor, which I'm looking forward to.

Where is the paperback available for purchase? Because I was only able to get my hands on issues 1 and 3 and I dont wanna risk not being able to read them at all while I search around for the single issues.
