Ok is there some simpler plans than Paranormans plans.His doesnt make ne sense.Or can someone give me some tips on how to make a smaller pack.Cause my kid cousin really wants one for his birthday.Its a surprise for him.His birthday is in a couple of months.Help would be really appriciated.

If you're not into following Paranorman's plans then just “eyeball” it as best you can. Cut out a board that's smaller than what his plans call for - kid size would roughly be about 10“ wide by 18”long…
whatever looks good to you. Once that's done, print out some pictures of what others have done here on the site(I recommend following Volguss'pack, he's got some great profile shots)and find items around the house that look like the components in the pictures: Pringles cannisters, square International Foods coffee tins, various lids and canisters, a small round cake pan. Whatever you think looks good. Attach all the “stuff” to the board using whatever methods you have access to and just have fun with it. Don't be shy about asking questions as you go. We all learn from each other!

Thanks for the tips.I have a proton gun now.I just took some wood cut to about the right measurements and glued em 2gether.then got some dowel rods I had lieing around and glude them to it.Its a start on one neway.I need to get some switchs and some black paint.

Ok I got the base of the pack cut out.Im waiting to go to the hardware store on Friday to get some stuff and I need paint.
