I live in lakewood, which is just west of Cleveland, anyway, last friday i was sitting in one of my friends classes at CSU , which is downtown. After his class we went to a restaurant called the Winking Lizard in the heart of the city, and as we were walking to the door, I saw a familiar face. You guessed it, Dan Aykroyd, that's right, Ray Stantz himself, in the flesh. i nearly blew a load in my pants. I ran up to him like a horny school girl and introduced my self. he was really cool, and he noticed a pin I had on a strap on my back pack. It was just a pin of his face, taken from the scene in GB where they are doing that cheesy commercial. He laughed and said he was glad I was a fan.
Then, in typical fan boy fashion, I started talking about Gb and how it's my favorite movie. He said something like, “well I appreciate that…” something along those lines. But I think I creeped him out when I started undressing. I took my jacket off and he's like, woah, what are you doing? I rolled up my sleeve and showed him my tattoo and he laughed out loud and shook my hand.
I asked him why he was in cleveland and i guess a new House of Blues concert hall was opening up soon, and he was there for like the grand opening. he told me I should go to the show (him and Jon belushi's brother are pretending to be the Blues Brothers, I'm sorry, as much as i love Dan Aykroyd, the Blues Brothers died with Jon) But then he was like “oh wait sorry, it's sold out.” So i was like, “ok”. Before I could ask him about GB3, he was like, “alright man, it was nice meeting you.” and that was it.
