I lived in an appartment where my rent was based off my income. I moved in there July 1st, 2007. I lived there for a little over 2 years when the place I'm living at starts having a bedbug problem. My whole appartment got completely infested with them to the point where I couldn't lay down on my couch or bed without getting bitten by the stinking things. So in the end I had to get rid of my couch and bed which were compeletly infested and had to move back in with my parents. You know why? Because the stupid people who ran the place only had the bedbug exterminators only come once a month! There is no way you can get rid of bedbugs if the exterminator only comes once a month because they reproduce every 2 weeks.
Because of the bad economic times my mom and dad can't afford to buy me new furniture. And the only place where you can have your rent based off your income that doesn't have a bedbug problem doesn't allow pets so my dog won't be able to live with me if I move there. I also hope I can get a better job (like a janitor at the hospital). Right now I'm a bagger at Kroger. It's like the lowest position in the company. Even if you're a full time bagger you can't ever make more than $10 an hour or have medical benefits. So hopefully I can get a fulltime janitorial position at the Hospital at some point. I am thankful for my job but I don't want to work there for the rest of my life.

You haven't really left any room for advice to be given (there isn't really that much to “talk about”), and the decision's really up to you in this matter. It's nice to have a pet, but some places just don't allow them.

I wasn't wanting advice. I was just wanting to tell you about what happened and see if anyone would sympathize with me.

If you weren't wishing for advice then a different title may've been better, “talk about something” suggests that you're after opinions/suggestions in regard to what to do.

Seeking symapthy is not the best way to get it, as if anything it's more likely to make people less sympathetic towards your situation.

I see your point. I just found an appartment that would only cost $280 a month and that includes Water, Garbage, and electricity. I haven't applied for it yet though. I hope to go apply for it tommorrow.

It's actually a little bit like my last place. The owner will pay for garbage and water. But I'll pay for gas and electricity. So I guess it'll be more than $280. But hopefully not much more. The security deposit is over $400.
