howabout doing something I thought i saw on one of the RGB's cartoon series, but if i didn't then wow, im agenius!

howabout, somehow a parallel dimension is opened between earth and wherever…
there is the ghost/zombie versions of the GB's! they come over and can zap/trap human like the GB's can with their own proton packs. here they zap humans sending them out into this other dimension where they are trapped. the ghostbusters have to save the day by defeating these insane ghost copies of themselves…..

It was in the RGB cartoon. And while I think it would be cool to see it played out live action style, I'm not so sure that there would be enough character development in the movie in order to do it.
I know that there have been two movies, but it has been a long time and the target audience has changed. The entire GB experience would need to be reentroduced to them first.
