Ok so, the GB Comic “Everyone can relax, the Car is Here” story is a little out dated and does have a little drama behind it with people not getting what they want from 88mph.

what I suggest, is that the enterance story should be changed to the new GB Video Game.

How I see it, we are probably going to be getting a lot of new comers to the site due to the hype of the new game, and what better way to show that we have all the answers and info than changing the enterance page to something that has to do with the video game.

So I consider the admin (Chad) not to be very reliable here.

They should just add a special link about the video game on the home page but still keep the car one on there too.

Or he isn't willing to do it as he might have something else for the page in the works. Even if he were somehow involved with 88MPH, and he at least seemed to have Sebastien's ear… why would that say to you he's involved somehow with the problems with 88MPH?


Admittedly, I'd like for an intro page to be like the old one used to be, where people could see the latest headlines going on in the community…

But this depends on what Chad's got in store for it.

Yeah, I highly doubt Chad's in so super secret connection with 88mph where he needs to show a page with an old deadline. He's probably got something in the works.

I know i may be kind of new to the ghostbusters message board but i have been viewing it every day since i got on a month or two ago. anyway i think it be a great idea to have a large ghostbusters logo with a few links under it to forms, archive, youtube link, Video download link, etc… I think this would help clear up some of the clutter on the website now i use search to find things but i get so many junk threads its not even funny.

Its definately not anything to do with 88….probably Chad has other plans with it. Until then, if it bugs you then you could just go to the message boards directly.

Woah, I just saw this thread. I apologize for my tardiness, I just joined a very early-stage startup in Chicago, so I have quite busy. Below is a repost of a thread I replied to just minutes ago that should answer most of your questions. If you guys have any other comments, suggestions, or opinions, please let me know. Ghostbusters.net gets a high Google pagerank, and it is my responsibility to shine a light on these things, so again, I apologize. This community is very important to me and I look forward to bringing activity back by introducing new and exciting things that have been missing in the last few years.

I'm so sorry for not posting this on the home page. I have also not posted anything about the game. Yes, I am behind now, but that will change.

I will update the front page by this weekend with fresh content (most likely a temporary blog) as well as links to many relevant Ghostbusters resources that may or may not also be on the archived GBN site (Proton Charging RSS feed, GB Props, etc).

Last, but not least, GBN is coming back. The archived site will most likely stay online for sentimental reasons (and I may even put up archived versions prior – including some of the earlier GB Central sites). Anyway, the archived data will continue to the new site, where there will be even more functionality.

I hope to start this process before the end of the month, I am in the planning stages as of now.
