Idea for next video game

A Real Ghostbusters game would be awesome since there's so many great monsters from the show they could use in it. But it is sadly very unlikely to happen.

I'd like the next video game to once again be based on the films but I would like it to be a little longer, more varied in its gameplay, more challenging and force the player to think more rather than simply zap and trap.

I'd also like to see some famous locations in the game such as the White House and Alcatraz.

Hard luck, they've still got the other half of the Harry Potter movies to adapt, and who knows what other properties they may wish to feature in their range.

I think there are alot of possibilities for Ghostbusters. It could work as a sims style game, a management game, a turn based battle game, an on rails shooter, a sandbox game, a top down adventure, a side scrolling shooter or a regular 3d shooter a la Ghostbusters The Videogame.

It could also have a variation of art different styles from a realistic look of the films the cartoon style of The Real Ghostbusters and everything in between.

i personnally would never purchase a lego based game ghostbusters or any other franchise but that's me. I would love to see a RGB based game with maybe the game featuring the first 30-50 episodes and maybe if it's any good purchasing the rest through DLC or something, that would be cool to relieve the episodes of RGB through a game, and maybe having mini games and side missions throughout different episodes.

OH god please no…you see kingpin..in my field..i'm a star wars collector..there's also people that collect lego's and put them together..I only buy the toys that look like the actual vehicle from the movie.

Legos are for 5 year olds…

I get tired of this..when I told Lucasarts to please make the trilogy NOT in lego form..they said lego was more fun! I just walked away and said, whatever…it's a marketing scheme for children..why in the heck would I want to play a game of ghostbusters in LEGO form? when we HAD never had ghostbusters shows as legos or in the movie..

LEGO games are a poor excuse for video games…they are easy to make because everyone looks like a dumb lego..

I say stop now please..Now I would play a ghostbusters that looked like a cartoon…like the icon..

Personally, I've found the lego games very fun. My wife and I play through them together. While she doesn't care to play the regular shooters (GB, Gears, etc) she really likes the Lego games, so it's something we can do together. And I'll admit, I though the approach they've taken has been perfect for the type of game it is. I wouldn't mind seeing a GB Lego game at all. (And I love Jay's Minimate version of the cover - I would pick that up in a heartbeat). Would I love to see another GB videogame like the one we got - sure, but I don't see that happening unless the 3rd movie actually gets greenlit. But I think a Lego GB game could be easier to get out there and might have a better shot should the third movie idea stall out again.
