IDW to publish new Ghostbusters comic series? Looks like...

I was surprised last night about this. IDW is a good publisher. They've slowly made a name for themselves. They've had some good licenced properties. CSI, Star Trek, Angel, Dr Who, Ghost Wisperer. Some of these books I've had an interest in too. But GB!? Awesome. Yes we will have a consistent comic now. Wonder if Sony had noticed anything from the lack of 88MPH? Or did they know it was just in limbo for the GB comic license? I'm not sure to expect an ongoing series from IDW though. Most of the time they seem to do their license stuff as constant, occasional mini series. Which is ok with me. Now should I get this as the comics or a collected trade? I also like that it'll count GB2 as continuity. Not sure 88MPH philosophy was the right way to go and be modernised, contemporary, forget GB2. Can't wait!

I saw the Ghost Whisperer comic in the comic store last time i was there and I literally said “Why the hell would somebody wanna read this?!” Cuz seriously, it's not that great of a show. I've seen it. But thats just my opinion.

I wonder if this means 88MPH lost the license.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Hey Dr. Stanz, maybe you guys should think about getting Dabb (the writer of Legion) for a few issues if (and when! muwhaha) this gets turned into an ongoing series.

K so im gonna just ask this now. But since the game has been deemed possiably delayed untill next year, what will that do for the new comic book hitting stores in october? Would it cause the comic series to also be delayed aswell or will it continue on as planned? Any ideas?
