If GB3 is made, what logo should they go with?

I just hope that whatever happens, whether the film is made or not, we get the chance to read what Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg came up with. It should be a very interesting read.

Now that's a great idea. We all know how well “Ghostbusters: The Return” did. Even if the movie doesn't get made, Sony could make some good cash by just turning it into a paperback.

I'd still like to see Aykroyd's draft(s) for GB3.

You and me both. I wonder if those will be released after the video game. I remember reading that a lot of his ideas were being used for that story - so it would make sense not to spoil it now. But after we've all played through it, it'd be neat to see the source material.

“Watchmen” is another prime example on why never to trust internets. Remember the teaser site that came out in… what was it? 03? 04? It had a wallpaper you could download and a timer if memory serves me correctly.

… well look how freakin' long it took for that to come about.

I think the GB logo, with a stylized 3 behind it would bee awsome. or Proton stremes some how forming a three…

I wouldn't hold my breath… if there's an example where an alternate screenplay has been released in book form, let me know… but I'm not presently aware of any books featuring alternate scripts being released at the same time as something to do with that specific franchise.

There have also been many sequel scripts written to popular films which have never been made so just because Ghostbusters III is being written it does not for one moment mean that we are definately going to get a another sequel.

*Case Exhibit “A” - Ever heard of "Beetlejuice Goes Hawaiian“? The vapourous sequel to 1988's ”Beetlejuice" that was written a loooooooooooong time ago, that's been sitting collecting dust for EONS now, and Tim and Micheal are STILL just "thinking about doing it"…

*And the original logo all the way - Anything else would be redundant at this juncture…

*Cheers.

Well actually, Keaton said he was interested in doing it again, but Burton thought that the first movie was enough. There's also the thing of weather or not it can be profitable. I mean, it sounds like a direct-to-video film.
