“Incubus to do the theme”….hmmm…I miss the days when hardly anyone knew of incubus, they made better music.. Now theyre pop instead of rock…I miss them and their good(old) albums…the ones most people who “love them” didnt even know they freaking have…. “Oh, ive got their first cd, ”make yourself"….BAH…

First of all, I have followed Incubus for a very long time. The music is still good. And when someone says that new fans don't really know them, it's crap. Whatever music they play is them. Whether others like it or not I'm sure doesn't matter to em. Last time i checked they weren't a band that got caught up in what everyone else thought. Whatever they play is what they meen to play. I've always liked Inubus for that reason and the fact that their words actually mean something. (as opposed to a group, say: Outkast, who's words have no depth but simply rhyme). I've heard all kinds of people complain about how “their band went bad after they became famous” and how “the new fans aren't really fans”. A fan is a fan.
Sorry about my venting but that just needed to be said.

I'm not saying Incubus sucks in general, but they would just suck doing a theme for Ghostbusters. Their music doesn't seem to have an edge. Also Outkast does write their own lyrics, and don't care wat ppl really think of them, but them doing a theme would be pretty cool, but also there could also be another band out there such New Found Glory or MXPX or etc. who could do a punk type of Ghostbusters song. But Ghostbusters 3 is not even coming out so lets all not jump to conclusions and play it by ear and just hope everything turns out well if its ever made.

Here's the list in order songs should appear:

Ray Parker Jr. :Ghostbusters
Rush: Twilight Zone
??? : Holding on For a Hero
Aerosmith: (New original here)
(And of course a love song is needed perhaps some trauma between Venkman and Barrett?) Ozzy Osbourne: Good-bye To Romance
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy: Whose Lookin' Through My Window? (Don't know if that's the real title, but it sounded good when I saw them)
Bob Seger: Night Moves
Metallica: ???
Billy Idol: Hot In the City
Dorf (Yes, that's my band!): Ghostbusters

Starsguy….I just hate people that say that Incubus is their favorite band when they dont even know what their first freaking cd is. And Incubus used to be alot better….it started going downhill when they released Make Yourself. They used to rock…now theyre pop….believe me…I saw them live when they werent sold out and then I saw them after they were sold out. And believe me…theyre pop now.

There is a punk version of Ghostbusters and it can be found on Kazaa by searching “Ghostbusters Punk Cover” in audio.
