dont agree with the way point cuz we have the pke meter, that kinda gives you the idea of where to go

I appreciate their point about the quick turnaround… but I can understand why it may not have been included, Ghostbusters aren't atheletically built people with lightning reflexes.

The waypoints and maps I totally disagree with, firstly, as with having a HUD, having a map would add needless clutter to the screen, and waypoints would remove a bit of the realism. Secondly, I like the idea of running about trying to find a ghost in the Sedgewick, and blundering into it without any warning. That's in the spirit of the movies.

And has been mentioned, the PKE and Para Goggles help with any directional trouble. Also as someone on GBFans, or Protoncharging said, if Egon zooms off in a different direction, you should probably follow him.

And the cutscenes is of little issue to me, I love them and the fact they're rendered differently from the game.

Well said buddy. I agree with you on just about everything here.

what really begins to grate is how often Aykroyd's ‘Ray’ repeats the same lines and instructions over and over and over and over. And over.

“Hit him with a Boson dart! Hit him with a Boson dart! Hit him with a Boson dart! Hit him with a Boson dart! Hit him with a Boson dart! Hit him with a Boson dart!”
LOL :-)

Someone who has played the preview also meant:

- jerky graphic, controlling not so good
- you have to watch the whole cutscenes again when you're knocked out
- some jokes sound too much “thrown in”

I can't believe that they complain about the aiming system, while in the same point, saying that the proton beam is jerky and chaotic. That's the point! The proton stream was not accurate, it was very much all-over-the-place, and they kinda hoped to hit the ghost with it. From the videos I've seen, the aiming looks like Gears of War… good stuff. They want it to be like Resident Evil, which I, for one, hate.

The way point comment is unfounded. The point of the game is to be fully immersed. Use PKE to get around, follow the guys or not. With a map and way points, the game is telling you where to go. In the movies, the guys didn't know where to go in the hotel; they wandered around and used the PKE to find the ghost.

And of course who didn't want a CoOp? Like they said, if there was ever a game for it, this is it. I don't care if I have to pay for it, if CoOp comes out later, it'll be well worth it.

Exactly. A map would be unrealistic and defeat the purpose of the PKE meter. A quick -turn would be unrealistic too in a Ghostbusters game. Sounds like they're expecting Resident Evil with proton packs.

Alright – we know there's a multiplayer mode in there already and this is hardly a quick-fix, but come on, guys - if there was ever a game that begged for four player co-op, this is it. You have four squad members, typically. You have a campaign with levels that beg to be traversed with a friend.

Get the Wii version you morons, or is that to ****ing kiddy for you?

They might of been able to stick in a map, like the way at the end of the first film when the Ghostbusters were in jail they had bluprints to Dana Barratts appartment. I can see the player pressing a map button and Ray pulling out some blueprints to the current location.
